Q. What do you use to make your portraits?

A. My portraits are “digitally” painted/illustrated using Wacom graphics tablet.

Q. What is the best photos for portraits and how many should I send?

A.  Three clear photos are best. I will select the best photo of the three you send to use for your portrait. I find it difficult to work from photos that are blurry, or that obscure important features of your pet. So please choose the best three photos that show your pet’s personality.  I like to focus on the face, so I prefer head shots from head to shoulders.

Q. How Long does it take to create my portrait?

A. Depends on my workload at that moment, I handle each portrait in the order received. If you have multiple animals in one portrait it can vary as well. Portraits take about 2-6+ weeks to complete.

Q. Once my portrait is complete how long does it take to receive in the mail?

A. Once your portrait is complete I send off to ship, then when ready from print shop I pick up and then mail to you via USPS Priority Mail. **Please note that it can take longer than stated if the print shop is busy.

Q. Can you customize my portrait or coloring page?

A. No. I have a style I like to stick with and want to stay true to it, so by commissioning me you are trusting my creative eye, I will make all creative judgments on colors, composition, animal placement etc.  I may or may not add dog collar and tags. ***Please note I do not add words, sayings, dates, symbols or names etc. on the portraits upon request.  I also do not add gift notes from the buyer.

Q. Once I see my proof can I suggest changes?

A. The only changes I accept is a ONE-TIME change, such as  simple color swap of background color, or eye color.

Q. What If I am not happy with my portrait or coloring page? Can I get a refund?

A. No. If for any reason you are not happy I can try my best to resolve any issues, but I do not offer refunds since I have already put the time and work into your portrait.

Q. How will I be notified when my order ships?

A. You will receive an email confirmation that your order is completed.

Q. Do you ship internationally

A. Yes, but please note that international shipping may take longer than US orders.

Q. I have received my order and it is damaged what do I do?

A. Once your order is shipped it is out of my hands, it happens but not to worry! I ship all domestic orders via USPS Priority Mail which comes with insurance. In order to claim insurance I need you to provide me with pictures of damaged package and item(s) you ordered. I will then send you the replacement of the damaged product(s)
